Growing up as a homeschooler, finding opportunities to play sports—especially volleyball—was a challenge. The few outlets available focused on basic, beginner-level skills and lacked the competition needed to truly grow as an athlete. For boys like me, the only option to improve was joining expensive and time-intensive volleyball clubs, which were out of reach then.

A coach I knew felt burdened for homeschoolers like us. This burden caused him to start a volleyball camp for my friends and I. It was an environment where we could learn, compete, and grow both as players and as individuals. That experience opened my eyes to the potential of volleyball camps—not just as a place to develop skills but as a space to build confidence and community.

At Apex Athletics, I strive to recreate that experience for others. Our camps are designed to teach strong fundamentals while challenging intermediate players to refine their skills. We especially aim to provide homeschoolers with an affordable, supportive opportunity to grow physically as athletes and mentally as individuals.
